Another Memphis in May weekend is in the books and again Memphis Thunder Racing had great partcipation. There were 88 Thunder team members completing the sprint or olympic distances with several others racing with relay teams. The sprint race consisting of a 1/4-mile swim, 12-mile bike and 3-mile run took place on Saturday, while the olympic distance race of a 1500-meter swim, 40k bike and 10k run took place on Sunday. Several members placed in their age groups and many have qualified for USAT Age Group Nationals in Tuscaloosa despite the hot & humid conditions.
