Mark Newman takes 8th at the Ironman World Championship!

This past weekend, Mark Newman traveled to Kona, Hawaii to take part in his first full Ironman distance event, which also happened to be the Ironman World Championship!

Mark's great performance with a 2.4-mile swim split of 57:04, a 112-mile bike split of 5:19:55 and a full marathon run split of 3:09:19, gave him a total finishing time of 9:34:59!  His efforts placed him 8th in the 45-49 year old age group, and 188th overall!
