It was a cold and wet Germantown Half-marathon weekend!

With one of the wettest and also coolest weekends for the Germantown Half-marathon & Mayor's Cup 5k, Memphis Thunder Racing members still turned out in style for this great Memphis-area favorite.

With the rain pausing for a while before start time, racers were very hopeful to avoid a wet race course. However with only minutes left before race start, the rain again began trickling down and continued, sometimes heavier, for the entire race duration. To add to the fun, the temperatures slowly decreased throughout the race to were the half-marathon finishers were finishing in temps almost ten degrees colder than race start.

Even with the bummer weather, the race was still a great and memorable event for all that participated.
