Four Memphis Thunder Racing team members took part in the Longhorn Ironman 70.3 triathlon on Sunday, October 5th in Austin, Texas. The 1.2-mile swim seemed a little short, the 56-mile bike quite windy and the 13.1-mile run was definitely a little bit hilly and dusty, but all in all, the race conditions were very good.
Allen, David and Jeff all set PRs for the half-iron distance and Lloyd posted an awesome time for his first race at this distance! Jeff was even able to secure an entry into the 2009 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
